Gamma Iota Sigma allows our brothers to develop deep relationships with one another through brotherhood outings, community service events, and shared experiences. This creates an extremely tight-knit community on campus, which fosters lifelong friendships, a strong support system, and a sense of belonging that extends well beyond the college experience.
Further, we develop the professional skill set of members, which may serve as a “pre-screening” for future employers. We build the confidence of our members in a professional setting, which is critical for successful careers.

There are many reasons Gamma Iota Sigma is unique. GIS is the Alpha Chapter, founded at The Ohio State University, giving our organization a legacy that dates back to the very beginning of the national movement. We proudly support The Orchid Endowment Fund, created by one of our own alumni, which reflects the long-standing commitment our members have to giving back. Beyond that, GIS serves as a bridge between students and a wide range of professional pathways, offering consistent access to employers, experiential opportunities, and a community that helps members launch meaningful careers.
